Arriving in Christchurch with NZ898 from Melbourne, Australia.
Second time I have seen NHA since it's first commercial flight a month ago (11th March). It is based in Christchurch, while the four (currently) new A321 NEO aircraft are based in Auckland.

My previous visits to the airport in the last month when ZK-NNA was arriving saw the wind from the opposite direction so I only saw the port/left side of the plane. Today it was a southerly with rain as the aircraft arrived onto runway #20.

New A320-271N arriving in Christchurch with NZ898 from Melbourne, Australia.
My first school pick up run in five weeks, so it was another half hour at the airport. I managed two new planes (for me) Air New Zealand ZK-NHB and China Southern B-209D.

My first photo of new A320 NEO ZK-NHC arriving with NZ884 from Sydney, on a wet and cold afternoon. I managed to get the wing tip flash going off, while another pic had the red beacons (top and bottom) lit.
It was delivered on the 9th April and entered service ten days later.
