Most Sydney bound flights departing to the east from Auckland International do a left turn (away from me) so I had the 600mm lens on, but this flight (QF148) did a right turn over Manurewa and nearly overhead, meaning I could not get the whole plane in frame as it passed directly overhead.
Never mind, it is my first photo of a QANTAS A330.
