A cooking (sour) apple, the variety of which escapes me, but most years 95%+ of the fruit are full of codling moth worm, but this year I have used various organic methods to combat the pest and about 70% of the fruit are free of the pest. Methods include growing marigolds and nasturtions nearby, hanging fresh seaweed from the branches, and corrugated cardboard rolled around the main branches.

I suddenly realised at 11:30pm that I hadn't taken a picture for the day (my picture a day project) so grabbed the G12 and a pen and shot a few of the fish on the wall. Loading them to the computer the time read 00:32! What? Then I realised that the camera was still on Daylight Saving Time, so the time had to be adjusted here in flickr,
