20240508_0983_RX1-32 GP40-2 times three

I headed out to my friend Dave's place yesterday afternoon to check out developments on his model railroad layout. Due to house renovations it is the first time I have been to his layout for about a year. Anyway he has some track down and can run trains over part of his layout.

I took two of my Athearn Genesis GP40-2 locos (SP 7240 and WP 3557) and Dave had one of his many Atlas GP40-2 locos out (Rio Grande 3126).

The out of focus gold dots are drawing pins temporarily holding the yard tracks in their trial position and will be removed shortly.

Grandson Ethan is now playing football for Ferrymead Bays, a club that I played for a couple of years just over 30 years ago. Actually my last game of football was for Ferrymead Bays, and I finished with a serious knee injury.
