Another shot from the old footbridge over the Christchurch railway yard (when it was in the city), with a light engine movement heading west on track 2.
Apart from the tress and the Waltham Road overbridge, just about everything in this photo has gone. The tracks are gone, platform gone, go-kart track gone, even the old stands at Lancaster Park are well gone. In place we have Washington Skatepark (where the go-kart track is behind the DC, shops, light warehousing and obviously AMI Stadium with larger stands and light towers.
