On a New Brighton Photographic Club weekend trip to the McKenzie Country (based in Twizel) for the weekend in mid-winter (shortest day) - June 2008. We had hoar frost around Omarama and Twizel for several days, and a great sunrise from up the Lindis Pass. This shot was taken about 9:30am as we returned from Lindis Pass, but about 10 minutes before getting back to the fog and frost.
Canon EOS 5 (film) with 17-40 lens.
