The north-east face of Hungry Hill from Derryclancy (554m). Our route took us to the green area in the middle distance, up to the right on a grassy slope between slabs of rock, and then straight up to the plateau.

Mine Head Lighthouse

Mine Head Lighthouse is located in Old Parish, Dungarvan, County Waterford. It is still operational but unfortunately the old fresnel lens light has long since been covered up and there is now only a small LED type light attached to the tower rail. All very economical and efficient, no doubt, but what a pity the old light has been extinguished forever.
