Taken on my birthday last week at the White Sands in New Mexico. It's hard to believe how fast time has gone these last few weeks.

The next image in my summer reading series with Vanessa Powell. I picked this quote because I love Alice In Wonderland and because our Dallas workshop was held in a Wonderland themed garden.

The model in this photo is one of my favourite people, Justin Kuder . We flew him and his brother Jordan to Dallas to attend our workshop and I'm glad to have been able to meet him and work alongside him.

An image I've had in my mind for a while. It looks like it's a devastating scene but really it's inspired by the idea that we can survive anything as long as we face forward and keep going.

The next image in my reading series with Vanessa Powell, she picked this quote (or rather a longer quote from Tuck Everlasting).

This location was one of the most beautiful places I've ever taken a photograph, Monument Valley. We arrived just in time to experience a rain storm surge through the valley and it felt great to let the rain soak us. It's a simple photo but one full of reflection and excitement, today is my birthday and I'm excited to see what the next year
