My first image from the wonderful meetup this weekend in Vancouver. The model in this photo is Lizzy, who hosted our group of travelling photographers and her family was amazing! Driving us to these beautiful locations, cooking us food and desserts and laughing along with our crazy antics.

The latest image for my collaboration with Coca-Cola, this time the theme was "Chat" and during my weekend in Vancouver I had the perfect prop and idea for it!
My bus ride to Vancouver ended up being 16 hours long and while I thought it wouldn't be too boring, I was wrong. Thankfully my good friend Marley came to my rescue and kept me occupied by having an awesome and hilarious text conversation for about 5 hours. When I got to Lizzy's house the next morning, I saw this red plane and I knew I had to use in a photo for Marley :)

Sometimes when I visit new places I like to sit and think of how it must have felt to first discover these amazing spots. I think of the first nations people who used this land for thousands of years. I think of explorers who landed and set foot on an entirely different type of world than they were used to. I like to think that when I sit in these spots, I'm a little bit of an explorer too.

Model is the beautiful Whitney Justesen, one of the most genuine and kind people I've ever had the fortune to meet.
I've been spending some time these last few days thinking about how lucky I am to have met so many amazing friends in just the last few months, it's surreal to me at times that so much talent exists in the world and that so many of these talented people are now my friends. It's a blessed life that's for sure.

It's hard not to feel like you're in a Tolkien novel when you spend an afternoon in the giant trees of the west coast. Peter certainly fits the part as well.
I think that in the time span of about an hour during this last day of shooting in Vancouver, I shot 4 concepts and modeled in a few as well. It was creativity at it's finest, a group of friends, travelling together to show the world what we're made of....kind of like Tolkien novels :)
