February for me is always a weird month, I feel like it's a transitional month, like November. It doesn't seem to have it's own distinct season and it's kind of trapped in between winter and spring. Months like this always make me want to travel, to see new things and meet new people. I look at the globe and see how little I've actually seen of the world, I need to fix that!

Our winter has suddenly vanished, it seems like we get a huge christmas infused day of snow then the next day it's melted and brown out. Today it was muddy and my new shoes (don't wear TOMS in the melted snow!) kept getting stuck in the nastiness, so I took a break in a tree.

It's still weird for me not to be taking photos everyday. My mind doesn't really miss the panic of trying to think of an idea each day but my heart kind of misses the whole process of creating something. I'm still trying to find the happy medium of posting when I feel like it :)

It has been raining/snowing/crazy weather things outside all day and all I want to do is sit inside and look out my window and thank the Tea Gods that I'm not out there!
Did you know that as of tomorrow I only have ONE MORE WEEK until my 365 project is over!? Crazy how fast a year goes by. I'm excited about having a bit more freedom but wondering what my next path will be....

channeling my inner Fiddle Oak :)
This idea came into my head while in the middle of a conversation today at work (with my boss no less). I have a particularly bad habit of tuning out in conversations that run longer than 10 minutes and my mind starts thinking about photo ideas and other things that are totally off topic. All I hope is that people can't actually tell that I'm doing it......
It snowed today, in blizzard like proportions. I did go out and try to do a snowy photo but the wind/snow/crazy winter ghosts kept wanting to knock my tripod over and I wasn't too keen on losing my camera in a white abyss!
