Well....that's all!
365 days done! It was such a strange feeling as I packed up my camera bag after getting all the shots I needed. I've done 3 of these projects now but the feeling after that last photo is strange and powerful at the same time. It's like closing a book and realizing that you've finished all there was of it, you can read it again but you've already gone through it.
I've had such an amazing experience during the past 12 months, I never would have predicted that I would have met so many new and amazing people and that my life would be impacted in the way that it has been. I've been blessed with some incredible opportunities because of my projects on Flickr and I'm constantly humbled by the kindness and support that I receive from you each and every day.
I wish that I could write a list of all the people that I'd love to thank for pushing me, inspiring me, challenging me, and keeping my spirits up during the last year but that list would be so long that it would take a year to read it. If you're reading this now, if you've looked at one of my photos, commented, faved, visited my facebook page or blog, THANK YOU. Thank you for changing my life, for appreciating my work and for letting me tell you my stories.
While I don't think I'll do another 365 project anytime soon, you will still see me quite regularly I'm sure! I'm hoping to start a new round of The Teleidoscope (52 weeks) in the new year and I know that I'll be posting quite often in between, I feel like I still have a lot more to share.

"A heaven full of stars
Over my head
White and topaz
And misty red;
Up the dome of heaven
Like a great hill
I watch them marching
Stately and still.
And I know that I
Am honored to be
Witness
Of so much majesty" - Stars by Sara Teasdale
My entry into Project Soul Pancake: Hunt for street art in your city.
Unfortunately my city doesn't have any cool street art, only terrible spray painted doodles and faded murals depicting trains or days in the gold rush era. Wouldn't it be cool to have a magic paint brush that painted real things? Like a night sky, or a field of grass, or an ocean? *sigh* back to the real world I go......
Can't believe that tomorrow is my last 365 shot!

My good friend (and fellow tea lover) Flood, chose Tea as today's theme over at "We're Here" and I had ended up with a "flood" of ideas for it. It was kind of funny when I was deciding which one to do I thought to myself "Well, I'll just do this one on a different day for my 365" and then I realized that I only have 2 more days left! Not that I'm going to stop posting, but it suddenly hit me that I'm almost done this project!
Also, as you can see most of our snow is now gone. Mother Nature can't quite decide if she should give us snow or nice warm sunny weather so we've been alternating....I can't decide if I want it to keep snowing or stay snow-free!

We decorated our christmas tree last night (while watching Uncle Buck) and now I'm in the holiday spirit, certainly helped that I listened the She & Him's christmas album as well!
PLUS I only have 12 more working days until holiday vacation, awesome!

Do you ever wake up in the morning and automatically think of something you want to use in a photograph? That happened to me today, I was fixated on putting a paper boat somewhere in a photo and this is what I came up with! I'm a little obsessed with oceans, whales, and boats....I think it's because I'm so far away from them.... I wish I were better at folding paper, there are about 10 crumpled attempts at boats sitting on my desk...
I've started a formspring as a couple people asked me if I had one, you can ask me some questions and I'll post the answers in my blog!
