Did you know that June is Flickr's unofficial month of jumping? Well it is, which means June is my favourite month in the 365 project because...well...I love jumping! I'm challenging YOU to take at least one jumping photo this month!
This June I'm also going to be playing along with Item Collaboration's new list of daily themes. I had a lot of fun and inspiration with the list back in January and I'm excited to try out a new list of photo prompts. Today's item was your favourite pair of shoes and I must say that my TOMS shoes are my favourite, even if they are starting to fall apart from wearing them everyday all day.

Well, I'm off to run my marathon! We're driving to Calgary today and then tomorrow morning, bright and early I'll be anxiously awaiting the starting gun along with thousands of other runners.
I'm nervous but I think it will pass once I start moving, I know my pace schedule, I know my goal and I'm going to do everything that I can do to reach it.

It's been a long time since I've done a peter pan themed shot, and with FGR's daily theme being "Jumping" it only seemed like the perfect time to do one!
I wish I could fly, just for maybe a day or so. I think it would be neat to fly over the mountain tops and into the hidden little places that nobody ever sees or visits. Maybe one day we'll all have little flying machines that we can strap on our backs and float away on.

Another jump, I know that I just did one a few days ago but I didn't have much time for anything else today. I volunteered to babysit my 3 nieces today and it was a blast. I tried to do a levitation photo with all of them (they're 3,4, and 6) which involved many costume changes (for them) climbing and falling off of benches and ladders (mostly me) and a lot of laughing (all of us). I'm not sure if any of the photos worked out or not but I had an awesome time hanging out with them for the day.

Happy Saturday y'all!
I'm having an awesome day so far, the sun is (finally!!) shining and I'm soaking up every little bit of it. I tried out my brand new running shoes today and ended up running my fastest 10km ever, 39 minutes and 44 seconds...I was pretty happy and that feeling inspired me to do a jumping photo. Sometimes it just feels right to jump :)
