I think this would look nice side by side with this one :)
I must have drawn about 10 different kinds of boats before deciding that I'm not very nautical and that I'll never be a ship designer so this will just have to work. It's quite therapeutic though to sketch with a tablet in photoshop, there's no worry about making a mistake because you can always just start again, I wish more things were like that.

This is my entry for The Teleidoscope's theme: Bridge
The theme this week had me stumped, I just couldn't figure out a really interesting photo to base around the word "bridge". There aren't really any rivers or lakes or interesting bridges nearby so I knew that I would probably end up doing a manipulation. Today while on Tumblr I came across this image and it was so amazing that I knew I wanted to try and emulate it and do a version for the Teleidoscope, it's fun sometimes just letting your mind wander through photoshop.

This is my piggy bank camera that I use to save up all my coins in hopes that I can collect enough to buy a new lens...or maybe some lighting equipment, but mostly I end up taking coins back out so that I can buy coffee :)
I've been feeling a bit grumpy lately, I think it's partially because I haven't been able to run for the last two weeks and I feel out of place without it.....hrmm.....

Inspired by and dedicated to the always incredible Ali who finishes up her 365 project today. Whenever I think of Ali's presence on Flickr this image always comes first into my brain. Colours mean a lot to me and the association I make between them and the people in my life are important as well and I think it's fitting that this is what I see when I think of Ali. The bold colours and artistic creativity are possibly visuals to express her outward personality and depth of artistry. The fact that when I think of her I see so many colours is a testament to the many characteristics, skills, and talents that she's expressed and shared with the rest of us.
Congratulations Ali on completing this accomplishment, you deserve to celebrate and I know you will. It's been a pleasure to watch your 365 project and to get to know you and I am lucky and proud to call you a friend. Thank you for the inspiration, your motivation, your humour, kind spirit and open heart.
You rock!
