Former railway from Winterswijk to Borken.

I can only guess what the stones are doing there. They appeared at several places on the trail last spring, together with a little heap of sand you can see at the right. Perhaps it is an attemp to make up for the fact they removed the stones between the rail and so destroyed the environment for the reptiles living there. Perhaps the stones are meant to give shelter to the reptiles again. Who knows!?
