From here it is about 5 km to the German border, there this path ends. When you are on bicycle (or on foot) you can cross the border nearby via another wonderful path with curves and when you know the way you can pick up the trail again. At first it is a small path, then an ordinairy road, but further on you can follow your way on a concrete bicycle path to Bocholt. Total distance Winterswijk-Bocholt is about 17 km.
