He's a red tailed hawk and an educational bird, down at the Raptor Trust, in Millington, NJ.
He'll never fly again, but he earns his keep, by aiding in teaching children about raptors.
This was a private photo shoot for about 14 photographers.

Don't think I posted a butterfly shot all summer, so thought I pop one up today. This is an American Lady butterfly. I kinda followed her around for about a half hour. =)

I want to thank all those who stopped by on my last post and gave their well wishes.... I really, really appreciate it. Losing Cash was so sudden and your words meant a lot to me. I'm very grateful.

I've had JJ for eight years now... and in all that time, he NEVER jumped on this chair. Now that Cashus has passed on, I think he's taking up his tradition. =)
My home now has a completely different balance with two dogs instead of three. But we've all settled down and have found a new normal.
