After doing some sunrise images and walking back to the car, I noticed a familar silhouette in the distant trees. I zoomed in on it and thought this might be a turkey on the roost. After quite a while the figure never left the tree.

Now this could be because it was extremely cold this morning or it wasen't a turkey after all. I like to think it was just too damn cold to get down on the ground and this turkey preferred to sleep in.

I know 22 degrees sound like a welcomed warm spell to some of you, but believe me when I say it was still cold. Florida cold is much different than Northern or Western cold. I have been in minus 10 degrees in the Grand Tetons and that was cerrtainly cold, but yesterday was COLD, but I was toasty warm in my winter outfit.

This is Florida's version of horar frost.

This is a 2 image blend of FG & BG, but once again the Flickr uploader made the image way too dark and the entire FG had much more blue than my worked up version. So I had to try and adjust this the best I could in Picnik. As such I have lost more of the FG brightness than the original.

UPDATE: I went back and reworked this image again since it was first uploaded. Possibly the difference is Flickr uploading and or my compensating the darkened FG. But either way it looks much better now.
