Waited for nearly 45 minutes for the other parent to land,hopefully with a fish for the young...missed that one and got the other parent as it left the nest. Canon 100-400 lens and LuniQuest softbox on Metz 54MZ flash head.

Went to this rookery last week,first time this year. There were only about 6 active pairs with a couple seemingly sitting off-on. The good thing about being there early in the season is that the surrounding area is not cluttered up with other nesting birds. So this series of images will be better than later on in 08.
