One thing I love about my DSLR is the in body image stabilization, or as Pentax calls it, Shake Reduction. Being able to make photos handheld, stopped down, and with or without a slow shutter really does open up more creative possibilities. With the K3III having such good low-light performance, I played around with both longer exposures to blur people walking and normal shutter speeds like this photo.

Of course, the last of the sunset fading in the background finishes this shot off nicely, too. It's nice when a photo comes together and reminds you that the world can be a beautiful place. Even the man-made parts.

I used to go out and photograph the streets of downtown OKC at night quite often. Now that we've moved to Arkansas, I have been surprised to find that to be something I miss.

Luckily, The Stop Down film photography club has given me a good excuse to be out in Fayetteville one night a month. This photo was taken on a quick walk about after the club meeting.
