Had to scramble to get this one. When this rainbow appeared after a late day thunderstorm, I scanned the plains looking for foreground and came across this abandoned elevator about 10 minutes later. Miss these summer Midwest thunderstorms living in the Pacific Northwest.

Trinity Lutheran Church seen from the ghost town of Lennep, Montana in Meagher County. Built in 1910, Trinity is the oldest Lutheran church in Montana, and it still holds services twice a month.
Lennep was a railroad station on the Jawbone line, which was built in part to transport ore after gold was discovered in the Castle Mountains north of town.

Longhorn, deer and mountains at sunrise near Greenough, Montana. There were also bison in this field and horses behind me.
It was smoky the whole time I was in Montana. This is one of the few times it helped the photo.
