Thank Mr Chain Link for inventing chain link fencing!!!! My friend and I were only able to hold our lenses up to that darn tiny diagonal hole if the fencing to get our shots of many of the interesting boats all in "secure areas".
This work is from a single NEF/RAW shot at 0ev, converted into 3 tiffs (for -2/0/+2 evs) then sent into Photomatix to HDR/tonemap the combo.

Fresh stuff from an exciting shoot on Tampa Bay with a new friend Chris (tebographics). Early morning start paid off with Grand Light and Mother Nature had conveniently provided morning clouds for us too! not oil pipes,
town water supply piping.
They had a beautiful "glow" visually.
It took HDR to bring that quality out in this work.
I'm finally sort of getting the feel for a kinder and gentler HDR...

when this work popped out of the tonemapping "oven" even I was shocked!
it started off fairly un exciting visually... but she polished up well!
Even has a bit of 3D depth/feel to it!!!
The clouds may be the best I've ever captured & processed... as I say, I AM learning.
