My 1st ever FLICKR post and after posting it was clear people didn't like it...but its one of my Favs. The immense threatening dark evil sky area balances the small intensely colorful strip that is the happy little carnival. The trees shadows and brightly lit foreground force your eyes right away into noise, bright lights, greasy food and cheap prizes!
.... OR Maybe this is actually a twilight zone Carnivale Macabre; with scare-you-to-death heart-attack producing rides, dangerous games of chance (win a teddy bear at Russian Roulette!?) and randomly laced e-coli carny-food?!?!View Large On Black ?

The dark evil dangerous looking sky "background" here represents my feelings at a carnival when I was a child... yeah the carnival was "fun" but it had a dark side... like being scared witless in the haunted house, or being shaken and spun around until you were sick, and even these bright colored horses... look closely at them...scary as heck...they all have their big teeth and mouths open ready to bite me... I'm supposed to ride on THEM?!?!!!!View Large On Black ?

Wildly Gyrating Forms, Blurred Dizzying Brilliant COLORS & LOUD BLASTING PINK FLOYD!!! Wahoo! After pizza, couple of cold beers, and 2 funnels cakes...
...it gets interesting!!!!!
...this machine is actually a veritable "symphony of Motion" but... i do find it astonishing that (1.) a human mind figured out how to construct this marvelous modern torture device...and (2.) PEOPLE PAY TO GET ABUSED BY IT!!!
