Taken along US Route 66 in Livingston County, Illinois South of Pontiac.

As far as we could figure out, this is an old abandoned weigh station related to the grain elevator behind it. The scale is visible next to the small building and the RR tracks are on the left of the picture. The scale doesn't look like it would accommodate much more than a small wagon like the one on it in the picture.

Taken at a small, but excellent car show by the VooDoo Dragons along Route 4 in Hamilton, Ohio that we just happened upon while returning home.

I don't think I've ever seen a stock Anglia. All I've seen have been converted for racing. I guess the bodies are light, cheep and easily converted to straight line racing.

Now where did this come from? I'm sure I don't know. but I'd guess from a local antique mall/store. I do know that no AI was involved. She's the real deal.

Taken at Dan and Joe's place in Shandon, Ohio.

This is the truck that Joe seems to prefer to use in his excavation business among other tasks.

Joe is the guy who opened my eyes to the American Truck Historic Society. I happened to run into him working on his flatbed tailor while we were cruising around the area looking for things to take pictures of. The place was a gold mine of old trucks and Joe was kind enough to take me around and tell me about them and then invite me to come back whenever I could. He even invited me to a couple of small shows held at the property and to eat some of his famous fried chicken. Unfortunately, the one time I made it to the event, I was too late to have some chicken, but all the other food was great as was the company and the trucks.

Taken in the city of Reading, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati.

Actually, I went back this side road to try and get a good shot of the factory you see behind the trucks, but couldn't find a clear place to shoot it. I had no idea the Valley Moving & Storage was back here, but thought this made a decent shot. I'm not sure and so shouldn't say, but I think the factory may be AluChem Inc. I'll have to see if I can get back there and verify it.
