Grizzly bear looking for salmon at Fish Creek, Hyder, Alaska
This hungry Grizzly is a regular visitor and is about 15 year old. The creek is full of salmon so he is well fed. They call him "Dog Ear" as his ear was once likely mangled.
I hope that one day there will be a total ban on hunting these beautiful animals for trophies.

Wet Grizzly Bear at Fish Creek, Hyder, Alaska
This Grizzly is about 15 years old and is a regular visitor to feed on the spawning salmon. He stayed for about 45 minutes so I got a lot of photos. He is filling up on fish, and getting fat for his winter hibernation.
I hope that one day there will be a total ban on hunting these beautiful animals for trophies. They should only be hunted with cameras.
