The other morning I spotted quite a few pigeons on a neighbour's roof two doors away! I've never seen so many in one go. At one point 11 pigeons were lined up!

I don't know much about the history apart from this: Named after the adjacent Ice Wharf – which was built in 1837 for ice imported from Norway. (Another tribute for my friend Knut, lol)

After we'd settled in our room in the Holiday Inn and freshened up a bit, it was time to go and get something to eat. This is the view from outside the Wetherspoons (The Ice Wharf) we had dinner in. We had wanted to go somewhere that wasn't part of a chain but we had limited time cos of the gig we were going to.
