This is Day 311/366 of my attempt to photograph the sky every day for a year. This afternoon I took a short walk with my camera around the Crossroads Arts District in Kansas City, MO. I've always been curious about this building, which currently houses luxury loft apartments, but I don't know what its original use was. Photographed in response to this week's Saturday Self-Challenge: SOOC (Straight Out of Camera). No processing allowed, and as an added bonus challenge the image is to be taken while the photographer is seated. In this case, I was seated on a front-porch ste watching rainclouds rolling in. Because I forgot to switch the camera settings from RAW, I did open the image in Photoshop, but just to convert to a format that could be uploaded to Flickr. (As with all my work, constructive critique is welcome, and faves are appreciated.)
