Our tour guide hired this classic car to transport us to the apartment where we would be staying for the first couple days of our journey. Because of the U.S. embargo and the fall of the Soviet Union, which had been financially sustaining the country, the Cuban people have restored so many fabulous classic cars. Although I'm not necessarily a classic car fan, I have to say these old vehicles were a lot of fun. (As with all my work, constructive critique is welcome, and faves are appreciated.)

Our tour guide wanted to start by sharing a vibrant current neighborhood instead of historical Havana, so we started with a visit to Fusterlandia in the district of Jaimanitas.
