"They're rushing the season!" I must have said this often when I saw the early Christmas displays, because when my daughter was still tiny her little voice would pipe up when we walked into a store: "They're rushing the season!" My grandfather and his second wife in their later years had a huge poinsettia plant rather than a Christmas tree, which was too much for them to set up. I think of them each year when I see poinsettia displays. (As with all my images, constructive critique is welcome and faves are appreciated.)
