Day 199
Building Accessible Web Apps was one of my favorite sessions at last week's Kansas City Developers Conference. Presenter Cory House focused on improving the online experience for people who are blind and visually impaired. His demonstration -- when he put on an eye mask, turned off the projector and turned on a screen reader that attempted to describe the contents of a poorly coded web page -- was enlightening.
