But we forgot it isn't open Saturday evenings, so we ended up at the Hot Hands art event at the Drugstore Gallery instead. There were more than thirty artists, and each was drawing and painting fast and furious all evening. As soon as a piece was finished, it went on the walls for sale, and everything was priced at -- as they put it -- "an unbelievable $30". Proceeds went to an organization supporting artists with stipends, professional documentation, unrestricted gallery use, and exhibition assistance.
