Flying By A Journey Of Life, A Life Of Journey Flying By - IMRAN™ (Part 2)
Flying by the seat of my {Maverick 😉 } pants over the Sebring race track, keeping an eye on racing cars below, while coming in to land in Roger's beautiful plane, I felt my usual excitement when flying.
This was with the additional boost of seeing racing cars in action below. It made me smile and say a silent prayer of gratitude over the sound of the aircraft engine and screaming racing car engines. What an amazing life I have been blessed with. Thank you, Almighty Allah, the One God.
Thanks to the blessings bestowed upon me, I strive to live every moment to the max, past the edges of edginess, and always slightly beyond the limits, to shatter boundaries, and set up new launching pads. Even as I make sure to take my time to savor every experience, every boundary shattering act, I still always feed my need for speed, as the Tom Cruise character in Top Gun popularized. That long alignment with aerospace, aviation, and breaking the bonds of gravity are among the reasons I always love trying to fly, as well as going to experience or just to see airplanes and aircraft, wherever I can.
This is true especially for air force aircraft of USAF or PAF. Whether they are on the USS Intrepid in my forever American hometown Manhattan, New York, or in a private hanger in Florida as in this photo, or even at a famous Pakistan Air Force base which houses the still exciting F16 Fighting Falcon squadron, not too far from my Pakistan hometown of Lahore.
The yellow tail on one of the aircraft in the photo was an exact match of one of my first "fighter plane" possessions....... my yellow, black, and white Yamaha Enduro street legal dirt sport bike in my University of Engineering & Technology Lahore days in Pakistan. That was why I loved having this picture taken in Florida, after the flight I wrote about in Part 1
