"Stevns Klint is a white chalk cliff located some 6 km (3.7 mi) southeast of Store Heddinge on the Danish island of Zealand. Stretching 17 km (11 mi) along the coast, it is of geological importance as one of the best exposed Cretaceous-Tertiary (K/T) boundaries in the world. Subject to frequent erosion, the cliff rises to a height of up to 40 m (130 ft). The cliffs are a UNESCO site."

The nature reserve Selsø Sø is located at the bottom of Møllekrogen. Selsø Lake was originally a cove in Roskilde Fjord, but for several hundred years the lake has been separated by a dam from the fjord. The bird life at the lake is varied and rich; during the winter months, waterfowl rides in large numbers, eg. up to 2000 greylag and 5000 witch and whey teeth. In the summer months, 35-40 different bird species breed. This makes Selsø Lake one of Zealand's most exciting bird sites. You can look out over the area from the bird tower on the lake's south side or from the square in front of Selsø Church.

The fishing village of Hesnæs is worth a visit. The houses are, according to old tradition, covered with reeds to protect the east wind, and appear very idyllic. Fresh fish are also sold at the harbor.South of the city is a dam and then forest. The sandy beach stretches from Hesnæs harbor, further below the dam to a distance past the start of the forest, until Pomle Nakke, where there is a restaurant on the cliff, where you can buy food and drinks. Parking is available throughout the dam and to the start of the forest.
