Hawker Siddeley TAV-8A Harrier, U.S. Marine Corps 159381, c/n 212021.
This is one of eight TAV-8A two-seat trainers procured for the USMC.
Online information about this aircraft is vague and, in some cases, contradictory. It was apparently involved in at least one and possibly two accidents before being withdrawn from use. Despite its markings, its actual history with NASA is unclear to me. The U.S. civil registration N701NA carried by this aircraft as it is displayed was, at various times, also carried by at least one NASA Learjet and one King Air.
