Launch Complex 39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida
On May 27, 2020, Space X, a private company working with NASA, is scheduled to make the first crewed launch from the United States since 2011.
Although Launch Complex 39A has been heavily modified, it remains a historic site from which Apollo and Space Shuttle missions were launched. Apollo 11 launched here on July 16, 1969, carrying the first men to walk on the Moon. The first Space Shuttle mission, STS-1, launched here on April 12, 1981.

"Saturn Causeway," the ultra-heavy-duty gravel road leading from the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) to Launch Complexes 39A and 39B.
Every Apollo Saturn V, Skylab and Space Shuttle ever launched moved along this route on its way to launch.
I took this photo before the launch of the SpaceX Crew Dragon Demo-2 mission on May 30, 2020, which marks the beginning of a new era for the Kennedy Space Center.

Saturn V first stage, formally known as S-IC ("S-one-see") on display at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida.
The S-IC was built by Boeing at the Michoud Assembly Facility near New Orleans, Louisiana. It was powered by five Rocketdyne F-1 engines, each burning a refined kerosene propellant with liquid oxygen (LOX).
