Instrument panel in the cockpit of The Airplane Restaurant.

The Airplane Restaurant in Colorado Springs, Colorado is built around a retired Boeing KC-97 aerial refueling tanker.

See:

theairplanerestaurant.com

This aircraft was delivered to the US Air Force as KC-97G 53-0283. Later, it was upgraded to KC-97L configuration by the addition of two J47 turbojets.

After being withdrawn from service, the aircraft was displayed at NAS / JRB Fort Worth, Texas.* In 2002 it was purchased by a private party, disassembled and transported to Colorado Springs, where it became part of a restaurant. The space that was the cargo compartment is now configured for restaurant patrons, and the cockpit is accessible as well.
