US Navy Lockheed P-3A Orion antisubmarine / maritime patrol aircraft, BuNo 150527, placed in storage at Davis-Monthan AFB in April 1990.

This aircraft was converted and re-designated UP-3A in order to serve its last assignment with Oceanographic Development Squadron Eight (VXN-8). It acquired its "Tasmanian Devil" moniker while serving with VXN-8.

Convair F-106B Delta Dart, USAF s/n 57-2513, in storage at Davis-Monthan AFB in May 1994.

This two-seat Delta Dart's last assignment was serving as a chase plane for the B-1B program in the early 1980s. It is now on display at the Yanks Air Museum in Chino, California. See:

Boeing KC-135A Stratotanker, s/n 58-0025, in storage at Davis-Monthan AFB in May 1994.

Markings on the refueling boom control surfaces suggest that this aircraft last served with the 398th Operations Group.

Joe Baugher's serial number database (see link below) indicates that this aircraft arrived for storage in August 1993.

Boeing B-52D Stratofortress "chopped" into sections and awaiting scrapping at Davis-Monthan AFB in May 1994.

Although the identity of this B-52D is unknown, the next aircraft beyond it is B-52F s/n 57-0034, which was used in some of the early bombing campaigns over South Vietnam.

According to Joe Baugher's online serial number database (see link below), the B-52F arrived for storage in September 1978.
