The Phantom was originally delivered to the USAF as F-4E s/n 69-7228, Later, it was converted to F-4G "Wild Weasel" standard for the suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD) mission.

According to an online source, 69-7228 was sent to storage in 1996, subsequently converted to QF-4G target drone configuration, and "expended" in a missile test in 2003.*

B-52H s/n 60-0053, looking sharp at Travis AFB in 1998.

On July 21st, 2008, 60-0053 was lost in an accident near Apra Harbor, Guam. All five crew members, as well as a sixth Air Force officer aboard, were killed.
