Although I have lost many memories, I still remember that my second grade teacher's name was Nancy Moore.

Two "portable" classrooms at Simonds Elementary School in San Jose, California. In the 1970s, the San Jose Unified School District built dozens of these "portables" in order to accommodate changing numbers of students at elementary, middle and high schools.
Ironically, these two "portables" haven't moved since they were installed more than 40 years ago. I attended fifth and sixth grades in the distant and foreground classrooms respectively.
