DADDY: "Cornelia! What are you doing?"

CORNELIA: "Oh Daddy, I just love living here with you!
Our home is full of all sorts of wonderful and exciting treasures!"

DADDY: "Those treasures happen to be my ribbon collection, Cornelia."

CORNELIA: "They are all so beautiful, Daddy. Each one is more beautiful than the last."

DADDY: "Well, I'm glad you like them Cornelia."

CORNELIA: "I am going to use them for dress ups. Which one do you think suits me best?"

DADDY: "Well, I think they all suit you, Cornelia."

CORNELIA: "Oh Daddy!" *Blushes red beneath pink mohair fur.* "Thank you very much. I'm pleased you think I look pretty in them, Daddy."

DADDY: "You're welcome Cornelia."

CORNELIA: "Do you mind if I ask Moesje to come and play with the ribbons? I know she will love them too!"

DADDY: "No, of course not Cornelia. Please invite her to come and play."

CORNELIA: "Oh thank you so much, Daddy! I love you!"

DADDY: "I love you too, Cornelia."

CORNELIA: "Moesje! Moesje look! I found lots of wonderful ribbons! We can play dress-ups with them! I think this pretty yellow and blue polka dot ribbon would suit you, but of course you must try them all on. Which ones would you like to try on first, Moesje?"

My bear Cornelia has made friends with a little bear named Moesje (www.flickr.com/photos/40262251@N03/galleries/721577217879...). Moesje is a beautiful Bukowski Bear from Paal in Belgium. She has come to live with Mummy Marian (Marian Kloon (on and off)).She had been waiting in the dark corner of a shop with other bears for a long time, hoping someone would pick her up. All the bears were picked up, except Moesje. An appeal was made on the Internet and Mummy Marian sprang into action immediately! Moesje needs friends to love her, and Cornelia did not hesitate, for she has so much love to give to Moesje. Now Moesje's days are full of happiness.

Cornelia, I found in an antique and vintage market quite recently. She is a vintage edition Russ Bear from their Mohair Collection. She is made of deliberately mottled mohair to give her that vintage look. One of a limited edition of 10,000, she was designed by artist Carol Hosfstad and is completely handmade.
