"That's All, Brother"

I apologize for the quality of this video, too. By this time in the flight, I was able to move around inside the troop compartment, but holding my phone steady near a window was still a challenge. This is the only other video clip I'll be posting, just to share a brief sample of the sights and sounds during cruise flight.

"That's All, Brother" led the 800 C-47s of the USAAF's IX Troop Carrier Command across the English Channel to drop 13,000 paratroopers on the night of June 5-6, 1944. It served in further combat and support operations through the end of WWII in Europe.

This historic aircraft was acquired and restored by the Central Texas Wing of the Commemorative Air Force.
