"That's All, Brother"
Douglas C-47A 42-92847, c/n 12693, registered N47TB.

I apologize for the quality of the video. I was sitting in a troop seat with my seat belt fastened, while twisting around to hold my phone near the window that was behind me. I just wanted to capture a bit of how the takeoff and initial climb looked and sounded.

"That's All, Brother" led the 800 C-47s of the USAAF's IX Troop Carrier Command across the English Channel to drop 13,000 paratroopers on the night of June 5-6, 1944. It served in further combat and support operations through the end of WWII in Europe.

This historic aircraft was acquired and restored by the Central Texas Wing of the Commemorative Air Force.
