I know I said that it was a lion trip but safari is not all about cats! Well.... at least not always.
Admittedly we were on our way to a cat, a wonderful leopardess called Bahati to be exact, when we came across this handsome trio and the shapes really got me.
The picture was easy enough to take, the post processing (to me) ..another thing. Although I really like it when other photographers do, I'm not really one to convert to B&W often myself. But in this case the picture screamed more or less to do so because it was the only way to bring back the texture in the clouds in a proper way. And yes, I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.
This is still a beautiful scene at the wonderful Masai Mara. But nature is not all fun and games.... Stay tuned!
