When my step-son's grandfather, Simonie, was young, his family travelled from Cape Dorset to Pangnirtung, by dog team, of course. It was a journey, full of hardships, that took weeks to months.
One day, their iglu had deteriorated so they moved to a new location and built a new iglu.
Simonie was sent to gather some belongings at the old site. When he looked in the old iglu, he saw 'little Inuit' had moved in. They were proportionally the same as regular people, but they were tiny. He said that their clothes were finely sewn and their fur skins were beautiful.
There is a long held belief in "little people" Tuuniit(?) and strange encounters on the land.

This new Flickr gouges the pocket book, for services I've never used(occasional editing, but I can do that at home).
I'll be deleting most of my photos.
There have been many that have benefitted from the 'free' use of my photos - from med.school homework assignments to kidzone to aviation. Reluctantly, they'll have to find other peoples images to use.
