Fluidr / Grizzly Bear by Turk Images

A lone male Grizzly Bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) roams the shores of the coastal inlet in the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Reserve looking for food and looking for love. It is spring time in the valley and the bears are actively replenishing their body reserves used during their winter sleep and it is also the time when potential mates are looking for each other to continue the cycle of life in the grizzly bear world.

The Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Reserve is located northeast of Prince Rupert along the west coast of British Columbia, Canada.
