I took this photo a few years back with a more basic camera, but I never forgot about it. This creature is really amazing and considered also a fish. They can grow 18 inches long, and can live 6 to 10 years long in captivity. Their orange-red color, with yellow and purple along their small, leaf-like appendages, provides camouflage amongst the weeds.

I love the way this two fish looked at each other! The white with orange is one of the many varieties of Koi fish, and the other a Gold fish.
