When I saw that the assignment for Our Daily Challenge was grey, I decided to ask Blueberry to model for me today. Bunny wasn't thrilled about it, but I thought this was an assignment where our old lady could shine. Blueberry will be thirteen this month, which is hard for me to believe. Just yesterday, she was a wild two-year-old, into everything. She is a blue brindle Greyhound and still as pretty as the first day I saw her!

For the Daily Dog Challenge -- 9/3 "Season's End"

We went exploring this weekend. I knew there was a trail somewhere in this area near the river, but I could never find it. Then, the other day, I spotted it on the way home from work. So, this weekend, we decided to go see it for ourselves. It was like entering another world! All the regular flora of our area was nowhere to be seen. Instead, all of this jungle like, aquatic plants were rioting around the trail. I haven't been ready to face the fact that we're in September yet, so it was nice to still see a riot of green. Flattery's nose was in overdrive. I think she was as happy about our little find as I was.
