This statue takes a prominent place on the Charles Bridge. The original wooden crucifix was placed here in 1361 but was destroyed by the Hussites. This present cross dates from 1629 and the two statues of Virgin Mary and John the Evangilist date from 1861.

These giant bronze babies adorn the garden outside the Museum Kampa in Prague. As you wander around this lovely City you can glimpse quite a lot of this Czech sculptur's work.
