The colours of the ferns and foliage have just started to take on a hint of autumn colour. This vista will look even more resplendent in a few weeks time.
I wandered all around here for an afternoon, starting from Oxen Fell taking in the old quarries and Hodge Close before making my way over Holme Fell.
