The Church, built in 1860, is the oldest Czech Catholic Church in the US. The organ, built by J. G. Pfeffer of St. Louis in 1876, was played by Antonin Dvorak during the time he and his family spent in Spillville in 1893. The unusual metal grave markers were molded by a local man, Charles Andera. All the graves, which continue on around back, face the church. I think it's because the dead want to be ready in case Dvorak should come back to play the organ one more time.
And yes, I think the HDR is a little over the top. Still learning, advice welcome.

The photo hardly does justice to the amazing sounds she coaxes from the Pipa, or the extraordinary vigor of her playing. But this moment at the Baltimore Museum of Art seems worth preserving anyway.
