No need for further introduction i think. The Angkor Wat complex is one of the most impressive sights in whole Asia. This place is so huge that you could spend a whole week without feeling bored. Of course as a photographer you need one of those famous sunrise pictures from the main temple in front of the lake.

Getting up at 4:30am and with my private TukTuk driver to the complex which opens at 5am and walking the last part to the little pond. Don't think it's that magical, because i was number 3 here, but within an hour there were more than 100 people present on this great morning.
Enjoy...

Welcome to the magic of the Ta Prohm temple at Siem Reap.
A very difficult picture to make. First, the light is very tricky and the space is so limited that you need an ultra wide angle lens to show all the beauty from it including the tree who takes slowy over the ruins of the temple. This one is made with 4 vertical exposures at 16m/m (pushing my back against the wall) and stitching them together using PTGui.
Second, during the day it's almost impossible to make an image like this because busload after busload are dropping many people who walk around and standing in front of your lens. After the sunrise at the Angkor temple i moved with my TukTuk driver very fast to Ta Prohm temple and was here first on this great morning with no one around....pure magic.
Enjoy...

When being in Siem Reap at Angkor Wat there are a lot of things going on including all kind of local people who are trying to sell you anything you hardly need. This girl sold postcards and when i was walking on, she kept on smiling and trying to sell me her postcards.
Enjoy...
